About ThalosForge

We build software for problems where standard tools fail. Optimization, MLOps, and robotics solutions that deliver measurable results.

Our Mission

ThalosForge exists to solve hard problems. We focus on the gaps where existing tools fall short: high-dimensional optimization, production ML maintenance, and precision motion control.

We don't build tools for problems that are already solved. We build tools for engineers who've tried everything else and need something that actually works.

Every product we ship is validated with rigorous benchmarks against industry-standard alternatives. If we can't prove we're better, we don't ship it.

Our Approach

Benchmarks First: We validate every algorithm against SciPy, commercial solvers, and academic benchmarks before claiming any advantage.

Deterministic When Possible: Reproducibility matters. Our DSS optimizer produces identical results on every run—critical for regulated industries.

No Hyperparameter Tuning: We minimize the parameters you need to configure. Zero hyperparameters in DSS. Adaptive learning in Saturna and Command Dosage.

Our Values

Honest Results

We report both wins and losses in our benchmarks. If SciPy beats us on a problem class, we'll tell you. Our documentation includes guidance on when NOT to use ThalosForge.

Practical Focus

We don't chase theoretical elegance. We optimize for real-world performance on real-world problems. If it doesn't help customers, we don't build it.

Clear Communication

No marketing fluff. Our documentation tells you exactly what each product does, what it doesn't do, and what results you can expect. We'd rather lose a sale than oversell.

Company Founded

ThalosForge Inc. incorporated in Virginia. Initial focus on high-dimensional optimization for engineering applications.

Technology

Our optimization engines are built on novel algorithms developed in-house:

QuantumJolt uses adaptive SPSA (Simultaneous Perturbation Stochastic Approximation) with learned step schedules for high-dimensional spaces.

Spiral Swarm DSS uses Fibonacci lattice sampling on contracting hyperspheres for deterministic global search.

Kestrel Pro combines penalty methods with Pareto-based multi-objective sorting.

Intellectual Property

ThalosForge holds patents and patent-pending applications for key innovations:

Command Dosage Control — Patent pending for gradual command injection method for robotic motion smoothing.

Spiral Swarm DSS — Proprietary deterministic optimization using Fibonacci lattice sampling.

Saturna — Trade secrets in calibration maintenance algorithms.
